FPA stöder utexaminerade som inte får arbete |

Studerande som avslutat sina studier och inte genast lyckas få arbete ska anmäla sig som arbetslösa arbetssökande till arbets- och näringsbyrån. Arbetslöshetsskydd kan utbetalas tidigast från den dag man anmält sig hos TE-byrån.
Största delen av de nyutexaminerade som inte fått jobb söker arbetslöshetsskydd hos FPA. En del har kanske redan under studietiden blivit medlemmar i arbetslöshetskassan. Om en nyutexaminerad uppfyller arbetsvillkoret och har varit medlem i a-kassan tillräckligt lång tid kan han få inkomstrelaterad dagpenning från sin egen a-kassa.
FPA betalar arbetslösa utexaminerade antingen arbetsmarknadsstöd eller grunddagpenning. För att få grunddagpenning förutsätts att arbetsvillkoret uppfylls. Mera information hittar du på: http://www.kela.fi/in/internet/svenska.nsf/NET/120510122801MP?OpenDocument |

UAS Conference
The vice chairperson, Lotte Uutinen and the international officer, Elin Blomqvist of the
Arcada student union board has participated in UAS Conference on 5.-6.5 at Paasitorni,
Helsinki. The conference was organized by ARENE ry. witch is the Rectors' Conference of
Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences.
The theme of the conference was "transition into work". At the conference we heard
various lecturers talking about Finland in the period of transition and challenges in
employment and Finnish innovation policy corresponding changes in employment, among other
things. Participants were also given access to several interesting debates on the theme.
The evening continued with a nice time together with colleagues and staff of UAS. |

Icehockey world championship screening at the Cor-house
The world championships in ice hockey starts this week. We are going to show all of
Finlands games and the finals at the Cor-house.
The program for the games look like this:
Saturday 8.5 Finland - Denmark at 9.15pm
Monday 10.5 Germany - Finland at 9.15pm
Wednesday 12.5 Finland - USA at 9.15pm
We open 1 hour before the game starts. |

Don't forget to sign up for the ASK sportday which is wednesday 5th of May form 9am to 3pm.
Sports you can choose between is zumba, aerobics, floorball, football among others.
