Issues with the Student Card

Due to some technical problems it takes a bit longer than 2-3 business days for the information to transfer to Frank and you can start using a Student Card. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope the problem gets solved as soon as possible! Please note that people picking up stickers to cards they already have are not affected by this!

Frank App and the digital student card

Please note that from autumn this year, the Frank App is still a free application that can be downloaded while the digital student card is a paid card product, like any other student card, and can be purchased in the Frank App. Online offers can still be used for free without buying a student card.

More about the student cards can be found on Franks pages.

Statement: Webshop

Free release from 25.4.2018

Last year the Student Unions from the capital area started a joint project going by the name Opku6 to develop member services. As part of the project, the Student Unions will move to a shared webshop. The Opku6 Student Unions have chosen to use Treanglo Ltd’s as the e-commerce platform for the webshop.

Laureamkos executive director Mari Lehtoruusu serves as the projects’ steering group’s chair and believes that a joint membership register will provide opportunities for something new:
– In the early stages of the project we set a common goal that if we create a shared membership register, it should be a type of CRM solution. This changes the thinking model and the procedures for the member register. By utilizing the available data correctly, we can provide added value for students as well as offer a more personalized and tailor-made service. In addition, a shared register could enable views, through the consent of the student, for the service at any of the six Student Unions – regardless of which of these Student Union the student is a member of.

Project consultant Petri Toikkanen is pleased with the solutions that have been made.
– A common online store opens up the possibility for future solutions as well. Developments have been made keeping in mind that the online store can be integrated into mobile applications in the future. In addition, it is possible to include products and services from other organizations and companies into the online store. This provides a great advantage in building a very versatile Student Union membership as a whole.

Treanglo Ltd’s Executive director Kassu La Habana Reyes believes that the collaboration will provide more innovative digital solutions for producing services for students.
– Treanglo Ltd’s mission is to offer the keys to the best student life. We have produced the marketing platform for students and student organizations’ events to help both old and new students meet and for them to improve their social life. With the Opku6 project’s webshop and member services this is a natural continuum. It has been a joy to be involved in developing future student services together with the Opku6 consortium. This is just a prologue for the future.
